Key Learning Solutions

Your Child Is Not Struggling Because They’re Lazy. They’re Struggling Because the Foundation Was Never Fixed.

A structured Maths & English foundation program that combines targeted tutoring with proven study systems, so your child finally understands, remembers, and performs consistently.

Physical sessions at our dedicated learning centre in Ikate (Elegushi), Lekki,  built for secondary school students in Lagos.

What’s Actually Happening, And Why It’s Getting Harder to Ignore?

You’re not a careless parent. You’ve done the right things, reminders to study, lesson teachers, checking results. But the pattern keeps repeating:

❌ They read for hours and still can’t explain what they studied

❌ They pass one exam, then slip back the next term

❌ Their effort doesn’t match their grades,  and they’re start to seeing Maths as something they dread. English feels like guesswork.

And the scary truth is that, When a child keeps trying and still fails, they stop believing in themselves. The subject problem becomes a confidence problem. And confidence problems don’t fix themselves.

The problem is not intelligence. It’s that somewhere along the way, basic concepts were not fully grasped and they went on without a solid foundation. And now every new subject is built on a cracked foundation.

“Hiring a regular lesson teacher does not solve this. It just piles more content on an already weak foundation. Your child needs more than just lessons. They require proper help.”

This Is Not a Lesson Centre. This Is an Foundation Program for Your Child

Key Learning Solutions specializes in one thing.  We find and restore the academic foundation of students who are underperforming so they can learn properly, perform consistently and regain their confidence. Our approach is a structured programme which comprises:

This program is built off years of structured academic foundation work,  with documented results across dozens of Lagos secondary school students.

Hear It From the Students Themselves.

These are the words of past and current students, unscripted and unedited, straight from the mouths of those who were once in the same place as your child.

The Numbers Don’t Lie.

These are report cards from students in our program. Names have been blurred to protect privacy, but the results speak for themselves.

No guesswork or general lessons. But a System Designed to Work for You

Every student who walks through our doors gets the same thing first,  clarity. We find out exactly where the gaps are, build a plan around them, and track progress every step of the way.

Step 1: Assessment

To find learning gaps, understanding patterns, and the precise areas impeding their progress, each student begins with an assessment. Nothing to assume. No conjecture.

Step 2: Personalized Plan

We create an organized learning plan based on the assessment that is specific to your child’s level, curriculum, and desired results, whether they be WAEC, IGCSE, or internal school examinations.

Step 3: Weekly Sessions

One weekly physical after-school program at our learning center in Ikate (Elegushi), Lekki. Your child will receive genuine attention in small classes of 12 to 16 students, not crowd instruction.

Step 4: Progress Tracking & Parent Updates

We track each student’s progress every term. You will  receive regular updates, and our team is available for check-ins,  because you should always know where your child stands.

Plus Friday Bonus Sessions (All Students)

Every enrolled student gets access to our weekly Friday sessions covering:

  • Study skills and memory techniques for Nigerian and international exams
  • Goal setting and time management
  • University pathways: local and abroad
  • Growth mindset and academic resilience
  • Homework support and weekly curriculum review
  • Parent Q&A with our lead educators

This Program Is Right for Your Child If…

They study but can't retain what they've learned

Their grades are inconsistent, good one term, poor the next

Maths or English (or both) feel like a wall they can't get past

They're in JSS1 to SS3 and enrolled in a Lagos secondary school

They've fallen behind and need structured help to catch up

You want a child who can eventually study independently, not one who always needs hand-holding

And this is not the right fit if…

Your child is already performing well and simply wants to boost their grades

You're looking for a general after-school lessons centre

You want a quick fix without a structured commitment

You're unwilling to stay consistent, results here require commitment from both sides.

We are a center for professional support. We work best with parents who are prepared to dedicate themselves to the process and students who truly need to rebuild.

Questions Parents Like You Usually Ask

My child has a short attention span. Can this still work?

Yes, this is among the most frequent occurrences. Our lessons are designed to help students who have trouble focusing by employing strategies that gradually increase focus rather than requiring it right away.

We frequently witness this, particularly with students who have been having difficulties for some time and are guarding their self-esteem. Our personnel has been taught to deal patiently with resistance. The majority of apprehensive students go on to become some of the most involved members of the cohort. (See the Linus result above.)

Yes. Our program is designed to support the Nigerian secondary school curriculum, with specific preparation pathways for WAEC and IGCSE students in SS2–3.

We work with students from JSS1 through SS3. Lower secondary students focus on foundation-building; upper secondary students receive exam-focused intervention.

Yes, provided that there are still openings in the present cohort. Or we will put them on the waitlist for the following intake if the cohort is filled.

You can enroll for both. We will reach out to you after submitting the form to  confirm availability and discuss the combined enrollment.

The Longer You Wait, the Further Behind Your Child Fall.

Academic gaps don’t close themselves. The longer they stay, the more difficult the curriculum becomes, confidence dwindles, and the more challenging it becomes for your child to fill the gap.

However, with the appropriate framework in place, the right assessment, structure, and support, your child will recover faster than most people imagine.
